if you know mom, she is one of the kindest souls you will ever meet. She always puts smiles on everyone’s face and she has always been there for everyone. Well, now she needs us! She needs help with some medical bills, ramps for her house, an electric scooter for her stairs and other items that medical doesn’t cover. Never in a million years I would think this would happen to her but now we must fight and continue this journey and I know she can with our help. We need thoughts and tons of prayers !
It all began with a tiny black dot on her foot and it turned into something life threatening and her whole world completely changed. She was diagnosed with Buerger disease and Peripheral Artery disease.
After many appointments and a few angioplasty procedures the doctor had decided to amputate 3 of her toes on her left foot and we thought she would be okay and heal but it was just the beginning of a nightmare. The pain got extremely worse. There was still little blood flow and they had to immediately amputate her foot which was devastating.
After 2 months, she had a life changing moment that flipped her world and her families world upside down. Due to unforeseen circumstances, she was rushed to the hospital for having leg complications and no blood flow. They decided to amputate both of her legs above the knee…
Mom’s strength and determination is the only reason she is still here. She’s trying to stay strong for family, friends and her grandchildren.
There are many hurdles she will have to overcome. The financial burden should not be one of them. Any donations received will go to Mom to assist with the abundant medical bills for her hospitalization, the countless office visits, multitude of therapies both physical/mentally and finally functional prosthetics, which we hope will assist in providing her the best quality of life.
We send our deepest gratitude and thank you in advance for your prayers and support. Any donation would be greatly appreciated. If you are unable to donate, please share this link.
Thank you and means a lot.
