<div>On September 26, 2025, my uncle was admitted to Northern Regional Hospital and later transported to Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center, where he was discharged five days later. Following appointments and testing, he received the difficult news that he has Stage III Rectal Cancer.

<div>Since his diagnosis, my uncle has completed six weeks of radiation and is preparing to begin two to four months of chemotherapy, followed by surgery.

<div>Throughout this journey, our family and friends have come together to support him in every way possible. However, the medical expenses have continued to grow. So far, he is looking at over $15,000 from hospital procedures such as CT scans, lab work, MRIs, and provider visits, not including upcoming chemotherapy and surgery.

<div>Anything donated will help go towards any medical bills and treatment-related expenses. Any contribution, no matter the size, will be a meaningful difference and help relieve some of the financial stress so my uncle can focus on healing.
