<div>as well as a hair and makeup artist in Los Angeles, and <strong>I am raising money for a dear hairdresser friend of mine who just happens to be from Gaza City, Palestine.</strong> His name is Ahmed Nejmi, he is 28 years old and lives with his family in Gaza. His home was destroyed, and he and his family have been moving from place to place. In total, there are 12 children in the family, and I am raising money in the hopes that we can evacuate them to safety. <strong>It will cost about $4,000 to get each one of them out.</strong> He has told me that there is no more flour left in Gaza, and just today he said, <strong>his whole body is shaking due to starvation.</strong> He has suffered multiple injuries during this war, including shrapnel to the head and a crushed hand, which is so devastating because he makes his living normally as a hairdresser. He had to bury his aunt with a shovel in the dirt. The very least I would like to do is to provide some relief for Ahmed and his family to purchase essentials like water and food, of which there is very little since the Rafah crossing has been closed. Prices are sky-high, and Mohammed had to take out a loan in order to get medicine to treat an infection from dirty water. His entire body was covered in a rash, and he suffered from diarrhea and vomiting. He has lost multiple members of his family during this war. <strong>If you are able, please donate whatever you can, and I will be happy to post receipts to show the transfer of funds.</strong> Thank you from the bottom of my heart, as this family could be any one of us, and I would hope that if it was, fellow human beings would step up to relieve our suffering.
