<div>The 1:12 Ramp Project is a non-profit organization in the greater triangle region of North Carolina. Our mission is to improve mobility and accessibility for individuals with disabilities through the construction of high-quality, customized ramps for those who need them at their homes. When someone gets discharged from the hospital, insurance doesn't cover the cost of a ramp- which can be quite pricy. Someone who is a wheelchair user will need a ramp to have safe access into and out of their home. That being said, this non-profit organization was put together to act as a resource to those in our community who are in need of a ramp at their home, but otherwise could not afford one.

<div>The funds will go directly towards the cost of lumbar/materials for future ramp builds. All labor for each project is 100% volunteer by physical therapy students and local contractors who are donating their time/skills to make each build happen.
