Hi, my name is Tlalok Rodriguez, and I’ve been organizing a local grassroots music series called MKE Music Night for over six years now! What started as a passion project has grown into a vibrant, rotating art and music showcase that uplifts Milwaukee’s creative community — without vendor fees, hidden cuts, or paywalls for artists. We’re now approaching our 100th event on Friday, August 15th at The Cooperage, and I’ve pulled together an absolutely stacked lineup: 12 musical acts, 5 local art vendors, and 6+ hours of live performances Tickets are affordable because accessibility matters to me — but making this event happen has come at a personal cost, and I’m currently down $500 out-of-pocket with more expenses ahead.
