<div>I recently graduated from Pine Forge Academy (PFA)—the only historically Black, Seventh-day Adventist boarding academy. My time at PFA was transformative. I was actively involved in:

<li>Acting in the drama club
</li>
<li>Learning an instrument
</li>
<li>Playing and coaching sports
</li>
<li>Growing spiritually and academically
</li>

<div>PFA helped shape who I am today. I’m incredibly grateful for the life lessons, experiences, and lifelong friendships I gained during my time there.
</div>
<div>However, attending PFA came with a significant financial cost—over $20,000 per year, not including travel expenses. That’s a big sacrifice my parents made for my education.
</div>

<div><strong>Why I Need Your Help</strong>

<div>This year, our family is facing a unique financial challenge. While I begin my freshman year at Oakwood:

<li>My sister is entering her junior year at Southwestern Adventist University (SWAU)
</li>
<li>My younger brother is starting his freshman year at Pine Forge Academy
</li>

<div>That means my parents are now paying for three tuitions at once. They’re doing everything they can to make it work, but it’s putting an enormous financial strain on them. I often hear them say things like:

<div>“I don’t know where the money’s going to come from.”
</div>

</div>
<div>“I guess we’ll be eating rice &amp; beans and PB&amp;J every day.”
</div>

<div>They continue to pray for a way forward—and I hope this fundraiser can be part of that answer.
