Support Minshu and her mom to rebuild after a fire

Our colleague and friend Minshu faced a horrible apartment fire on October 22nd. The fire completely destroyed the apartment, and Minshu and her mother lost all of their belongings: Minshu's mother left the burning apartment in only her pajamas and bathrobe.

Both Minshu and her mother are safe but devastated. They're in urgent need of clothing, toiletries, and a place to stay. In the coming weeks, they will need to find a more permanent home and furnish it again from scratch. All of this requires our direct financial support.
 
Minshu is a social worker and outreach worker, advocate for diverse marginalized groups, and cherished member of so many communities. Minshu has given her energy and labour to people in need for years, and right now, she needs our support to rebuild. Please help Minshu and her mom to meet their basic needs and find safety and comfort again after this devastating event.
