Hi, my name is Tiffiny. I’ve been a pet lover my whole life, and I’ve had my cat Minnie since she was a tiny kitten. She’s 6 now. Minnie is bossy and territorial, but she has a soft spot for me and my dad. She’s been with me through all of my adult life, and I can’t imagine losing her so suddenly.

I just found out Minnie has diabetes, and it’s already turned into a dangerous complication called DKA. I had no idea she was sick until now, and the vet said she needs treatment right away if she’s going to make it.

It’s really hard and honestly awkward for me to ask for help like this. I’ve always tried to figure things out on my own, but this year has been overwhelming. My dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, I had to cut back my work hours to take care of him, and we had to move out of our old house because it was falling apart. With everything happening, I just can’t cover the cost of Minnie’s treatment by myself.

Minnie isn’t just a pet… she’s family. She’s been my comfort and my constant through so many hard days, and I just want to give her the chance to pull through this.
