Sending Love to The Pangilinan Family

Story

My name is Kaye Olinarez Almazar and I am writing on behalf of my brother’s wife’s family who is currently mourning the loss of their mother, Minerva Sablay Pangilinan. Tita Minnie, as I call her, struggled with her fragile health since the day after Christmas 2023. She suffered a life-threatening heart attack on December 26th and underwent open heart surgery. She spent the next four months in therapy and fought other numerous medical challenges. But on the morning of April 26th, her heart went through another perilous cardiac arrest that her body just could not recover from. Despite her difficult and long battle, this past Tuesday, April 30th, on her 70th Birthday, the whole family gathered beside her to say their final goodbyes. She passed in the presence of her loved ones at UC Irvine Medical Center in Irvine, California. Tita Minnie was the heart of the Pangilinan household. Her husband, Tito Gil, spent the last four months focusing on her complete care, along with their children, Aldous, Guilliane, Abigail, and Jeremiah. She was also the best lola to their grandchildren, Jaelyn, Jecca, TJ, and Chance. Despite the family's huge loss, they are praising God for His love and for being blessed with the best wife, mom, sister, niece, aunt, and grandmother. Please help us lift the Pangilinan family during this time of mourning. They lost the center of their universe and we are raising funds to show Tito Gil and the rest of the family the power of love in our community. Together we can be a huge blessing to them in the midst of their pain. Any amount will help ease the family’s burden. We know that during these hard times many of you are also hurting in different ways. So many of you are also struggling with your own finances, own medical problems, family challenges, and various stressors. If you’ve made it to reading this far we want to thank you for allowing us to speak to your heart despite your circumstances. We request and welcome the prayers and words of support and in return we thank our Father God for allowing our story to reach you. Our family lifts you up in prayer. Thank you. ~On Behalf of the Pangilinan Family~ Gil, Aldous, Guilliane, Abi, and Jay
