Support Ministry Intern Ash Milam

Support the Denton Wesley Foundation's Praxis Intern, Ash Milam! This year, the Denton Wesley Foundation, an affirming, inclusive, intersectional, and unapologetically Christian ministry of the United Methodist Church for students at UNT, TWU, and NCTC, has hired Ash Milam to be its Praxis Intern to explore their call to ministry and use their gifts for reflective theological activism, Christian leadership, intersectional and affirming ministry, and social justice . Ash is stepping out in faith to raise their own salary so that they can form a network of supporters for their spiritual journey and discernment of their calling and so that the Wesley can grow its ministries to students in Denton.

Meet Ash.
My name is Ash, and I’m one of the interns here at the Wesley! I am a junior and a social work major. I am extremely passionate about making this an inclusive space for all students! In my free time, I like to play sports, read, watch Netflix, and go exploring. I also write in my spare time. My favorite genres are fantasy and historical fiction. I am exploring a call to ministry because I want to extend the same light and grace that God has given me over and over again. I pray that They will enable me to make a difference in the Wesley, UNT, and the city of Denton.
