My dear friend Minerva Cisneros, whom I have known for at least 20 years, was recently diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis. This is an autoimmune disease that leads to muscle weakness, most commonly in the eyes, face, and swallowing. Minerva's eyes have been affected, and as a result, she has not been able to work since March 20th, 2025.

Minerva has two cats, a dog, and a mortgage to take care of in addition to trying to get healthy. Anything that you can give will be much appreciated!
