Hey everyone! My name is Hannah, and I am trying to raise funds for a sweet family, Madison and Adam Howard, who could use our help in saving their beloved family dog, Millie.

A little backstory on Millie-

Millie is a German Shepherd female, who was brought into the family as a young puppy and quickly became a protector and companion for their daughter Meredith, who has autism. Millie's job is making sure Mere is okay and follows her around everywhere. They go hand in paw!

Millie unfortunately escaped their yard on Sunday, 03/02. After searching for about an hour and luckily finding her, she returned to them in critical condition. After multiple tests and observations at an emergency vet in Holly Springs, NC, it is believed that she was hit by a car. They have already spent over $3,000 on Millie's one-night stay and medication/testing so far. It is estimated that expenses can keep rising up to or beyond $5,000.

The latest update we have received on Millie is that she is improving but isn't out of the woods yet. She no longer needs a blood transfusion but is suffering from a possible punctured lung and some internal bleeding. She will be kept for at minimum one more night at the hospital, which adds up quickly.

Madison and Adam are hardworking, loving, and dedicated parents to not only their daughter Mere, but their fur children as well. They love them just like they are family and would do anything for them. Millie is severely being missed right now by Mere, as well as their other dog Nash who is always right by Millie's side.
