Support Millie's Fight Against CDH

Update~

With heavy hearts of ours, we are devastated to say our beloved girl Millie Grace, has passed. She had fought, 18 days battling CDH and other complications. Mille was here for a short time but will forever be loved and cherished. We have so many questions, and all we know is that god has other plans for our beautiful angel. Please don’t feel obligated to donate, any donations will be used for funeral expenses and such.

Hi, I’m Mackenzie and I’m setting up a GoFundMe page for my baby girl. Millie was born on 11/19 at 10:48 am. Millie was diagnosed with CDH at 16 weeks. CDH stands for congenital diaphragmatic hernia, which is when the abdominal organs move to the chest cavity. In this case, Millie was diagnosed with left-sided CDH; her liver, gallbladder, spleen, stomach, and intestines have all moved into her chest cavity. Her lungs are not properly developed, and she’s now on ECMO. Millie was placed on ECMO 3 hours after delivery.

I, myself, have worked for as long as I could, working as a groom with horses until about 25 weeks, and retail part-time until I had to relocate to John Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. Malcolm, who is my boyfriend and the father of our precious daughter, works in construction and gets work when he can. Malcolm provides as he can. We can definitely use the extra help for support; anything counts, and we’re grateful for anything to help us get through this difficult period of time. We could also use prayers for our baby girl.
