<div>Millie is our 10-year-old daughter with the gentle, wise soul of someone far beyond her years. She is a daughter, a big sister, and a friend whose loving nature touches everyone she meets.

<div>Millie’s most endearing quality is her unwavering kindness and concern for others. She has received citizenship and sportsmanship awards every year since starting school. She excels in Math and History and is an accomplished athlete who just led her basketball team to a city championship this past winter. She has hopes of one day playing basketball for USC or UCLA.

<div>On July 24th, our family’s world was turned upside down. After a few weeks of stating that she was feeling a bit dizzy and increasingly tired, we took her to Children’s Hospital LA. Once CHLA ran some tests and scans, they found a mass in her brain, and Millie was diagnosed with a rare form of inoperable brain cancer. It is a very aggressive form of cancer with limited treatment options and a low survival rate.

<div><strong>We are setting up this page to help ease the burden of Millie’s medical expenses and buy us some time</strong>. <strong>Time for her to spend with her friends and family. Time for her to travel a bit and take those trips that we’ve been talking about the past few years. Time for some sort of progress to be made on the research front.</strong> We love our baby girl so much, and we can’t believe we are typing this out, but we want to be proactive to ensure that she receives the best care possible while cherishing every moment that we have with Millie going forward.
