<div>Our dear friend Miljenka Franken from Aruba was in a terrible motorcycle accident on April 25, 2025 in Maryland and med flighted to a hospital in Washington DC.

<div>She underwent emergency surgery to her back and spine. Unfortunately this accident has left her paralyzed from the waist down.

</div>

</div>

<div>Anyone who knows Miljenka knows she is an incredible wife, mother and friend to so many.

</div>

<div>Her smile and spirit is contagious. She is 45 years of age and very active and takes great care of her health.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>This is going to be a huge challenge to overcome, but we have no doubt that she can do it with help and positive energy.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Her medical expenses, adjusting to daily life and getting back to Aruba will be extremely challenging and very costly.

</div>

<div>We are asking for assistance to help her. She is in the United States without her parents extended family and friends.
