Support Mike, Jess and Lily ❤️

Our little Lily aka The Hammer is strapping in for a pretty big (and unfair) fight for someone her size. Lily was diagnosed on December 13th with a form of Leukemia, I believe the proper term is T Cell Leukemia, thankfully the Oncologist is very optimistic, however it will be a long and hard road ahead, with the treatment being a 29 day cycle of chemotherapy which started on the 14th and is expected to be pretty hard on Lily and emotionally hard for our favourite little family. And probably meaning Christmas at Cheo. It is possible that at the end of the 29 day cycle, the cancer cells will be gone and then it will be a matter of maintenance. If cancer cells remain, they will re-adjust the treatment and continue the fight. The cure rate for this type is 85% so the odds are in Lily’s favour. All that said, it’s likely to be a 3 year path of treatments and check ups. Every day forward is a step in the right direction, but our little angel has a long road ahead.

Lily is so far unfazed by all of this and still sparkles. We are opening up a fundraising account, if we can help in a small way of taking care of some expenses for them so they can focus their efforts on their beautiful Lily, it’s the least we can do for a family who we all feel a part of, especially with another little one on the way.

We were thinking money raised could go to things like:
- Parking money for Cheo
- Medicine
- Presents
- Gas money
- Living expenses
- Food
- Snow removal
- Baby Chev # 2

There will be no expiry date on the fundraising account so multiple donations are welcome, we understand it’s an expensive time of year for everyone being Christmas, don’t feel pressured to donate now or ever, good vibes are good too and welcomed!
