<div>My friend, longtime Thing community member, speaker, and resident event sketch artist, Mike Brennan, gave us all a scare on Saturday when his heart decided to get a little… well… sketchy.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>While in Orlando for The Thing last weekend, Mike experienced a mild heart attack and needed an immediate stent — which thankfully went incredibly well. He has since been released from the hospital and is now focused on recovery and hopefully traveling home to the Nashville area soon.

</div>
<div>This fundraiser is here to support Mike and his family with the unexpected costs that come with a medical emergency — including hospital bills, follow-up care, cardiac rehab, travel, and any lost income while he takes the time he needs to heal.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you’ve ever been to The Thing, you know Mike.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He’s the guy who brings every moment to life in real time with his trusty iPad sketches — turning our ideas, talks, and breakthroughs into art we get to keep forever.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now it’s our turn to show up for him.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you’re able, please donate — and share this fundraiser via social media, email, text, or whatever your favorite communication method may be. Every bit helps Mike get back to doing his Thing… so he can keep helping all of us do ours.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Let’s help our sketch artist refill his colors, rebuild his strength, and come back stronger than ever.
</div>

</div>
<div>PS: GoFundMe takes about a 3% cut of your donation to cover processing fees. They basically provide the platform for free, and you can tip if you want to contribute to the tech stack.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>There are multiple organizers on this fundraiser to give proper oversight over the money raised, so you can feel secure in your donation.

<div>All that said, if you prefer to donate to Mike directly via Venmo, you can do that here: <button data-competitor="competitor-link" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener">Click here to donate via Venmo</button>
