Support Migrants Fleeing The Russo-Ukrainian War

We are in utter disbelief at the war in Ukraine. Like you, many of us never imagined a humanitarian crisis of this scale in Europe.

 

Amongst the many innocent people fleeing for their lives are Migrant Workers, Students, Asylum Seekers and Refugees from ethnic minority backgrounds.

 

They were not prepared for war. They were not prepared to be singled out and forcibly removed from buses and trains or to be denied processing at borders because they were not Ukrainian citizens. They were not prepared to stand for days in sub-zero temperatures with little access to food, water, warmth as they watch their hosts cross over to safety.

 

Sonaaar joined forces with many grassroots organisers coordinating emergency relief for the Ukrainian and ethnic minority communities.

 

Please help us continue to organise:

⁃            transportation to escape routes

⁃            sustenance for those travelling to the border

⁃            accommodation for those who were able to cross over to safer countries and

⁃            resources they need to plan their next steps
