Michelle Toney and David Cleveland met ten years ago while working in a local restaurant, and their shared dream was to open their own catering business. Through hard work and dedication, they launched Sharp Top Catering, quickly becoming a sought-after team in their community. When the opportunity arose, they expanded their dream by opening Corfu, a Mediterranean restaurant in beautiful little downtown Jasper, GA, bringing unique and delicious food to their small town.  Tragically, just two months after losing her beloved mother, Michelle lost David—her husband, business partner, and best friend—suddenly and without warning. David was the chef and creative force, while Michelle managed every other aspect of their business. With no life or business insurance and most of their savings tied up in the restaurant, Michelle is now facing the loss of her partner, her job, and her business all at once. She must now liquidate the restaurant, negotiate with the landlord to close the business months before the lease is up, and find a way to cover her immediate living expenses—all while navigating overwhelming grief.
