Michelle McQuarter is a 54 year old stay at home wife, mother of 3 and grandmother of 3. After years of doctors looking for the unknown illness that was causing fatigue, shortness of breath, dizzy or lightheadedness, constantly feeling cold, headaches and random bruises (or small red and purple spots) on the skin. These symptoms have has her in and out of the ER and Hospital as doctors poked at her. These trips to the hospital have included stents put in her heart, kidneys and corroded arteries trying to "fix" her.
Michelle was just diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) and Lupus. The doctors have transferred her from the general care hospital in Midland to a Cancer Center in Detroit, MI.
We are raising funds to help with Michelle McQuarter's bills.
Michelle does not have health insurance coverage for her Chemotherapy treatments and bone marrow testing for potential marrow transplant. Theses medical bills on top of her husband Steve taking time off work to be by her side. There is also the cost of driving between Linwood and Detroit (approximately 250 mile round trip).
