Michelle Bucci's recovery

We are raising funds to help our friend Michelle Bucci, who is facing a long road to recovery since being diagnosed with SCAD - Spontaneous coronary artery dissection. This is an uncommon cardiac event that occurs when a tear forms in one or more of the coronary arteries near the heart. We are hoping to help Michelle and Mike by raising funds for a Nanny or Au Pair to help care for her young sons, Sonny aged 5 and Leroy aged 2 for a 3-6 month period.
During the past month, Michelle has been very unwell with the flu which lead to pneumonia. Whilst trying to deal with this, she suffered two heart attacks and is currently in ICU. All of this was happening in the same week her eldest son, Sonny, started prep. Instead of enjoying what should have been an exciting and happy time, Michelle was hospitalised and faced a near death experience. With medication, Michelle will face a very slow recovery both emotionally, mentally and physically.
Needless to say, life has been turned upside down for Michelle and her family. She has been instructed not to even lift a bottle of milk! As many of Michelle’s friends and family do not live close to her in the Sunshine coast, the help and support we would usually provide becomes impossible. But a donation, no matter how small will help ease the stress on her by providing extra care for her sons.
