Support Michael's Fight Against Liver Cancer

Our lives were turned upside down on September 20, 2024, when our son Michael was diagnosed with a rare form of liver cancer known as hepatoblastoma with hepatocellular carcinoma features.

Michael is many things - smart, loving, friendly, and supportive. Like many 13-year-olds, he loves sports and video games. He has a great sense of humor and has a tremendously positive attitude towards the battle ahead of him.

Most importantly, he is a fighter.

We have a long journey ahead of us, but we know with the prayers and support of our family, friends, and community, he can beat this. We don’t typically ask for things but are realizing that we might need some form of help after all. The financial burden is starting to catch up to us from taking time off of work, medical expenses, gas to get to and from facilities, and food. Between months of chemo and surgery out of state, there’s more than we could have ever imagined. Anything received will be greatly appreciated and will help us ensure that we can provide Michael with the best care possible.
