On October 10th 2024 during a endoscopy examination, they found a 5 CM mass on my son in law Michaels lower esophagus. It is laying on top of the stomach. After a biopsy of the mass, they determined it was esophageal cancer. Treatment plan involves 4 rounds of chemotherapy, surgery, and then 4 more rounds of chemotherapy.

He has completed 4 rounds of chemotherapy and surgery is scheduled for February 11th. He will have a 4 week recovery time where he will not be able to work. He will then begin his last 4 rounds of chemo.

Everyone’s prayers have been such a blessing and that is more than enough but several have asked what they can do to help so this page is being set up for them.
