<div>My name is Dawn Wyble. MY daughter Angel Matthews and I are creating this go fund me for a local man who is viewed as a hero-Michael Shutack. On Halloween evening, as Trick or Treating was beginning, several Pitbulls escaped from a neighboring house. The dogs began to go after several children. Michael Shutack lifted the children over a fence to safety before they began to maul him. MIichael received extensive facial injuries that required surgery and stitches as well as injuries to other parts of his body. The dogs also attacked several others with Michael's injuries being the most extensive. Some of the neighborhood children were unable to experience trick or treat that evening due to being instructed to remain in their homes until the local police could get the situation under control. Unfortunately the police had to euthanize one of the dogs. It was a very sad evening for all. My daughter and I organized a 2nd chance Trick or Treat for the neighborhood children. While passing out fliers advertising the 2nd chance trick or treat I met Michael and his wife Margie and felt compelled to do something to help them too! Michael works as a Butcher at a local grocery store. He supports his wife and their daughter who has a condition called Down's Syndrome. He will be off work for several weeks due to his surgery and injuries. If you could find it in your heart to help this family it would be greatly appreciated. All donations will be directly released to Michael and his wife Margie to assist with medical bills from his injuries and their monthly living expenses.
