Michael Hyland Jr. is my dear friend’s son, and I am raising funds for him after the devastating loss of both of his parents within months of each other. For the last three years, Michael was the caregiver for both of his ill parents. Now, after giving so much of himself to their care, he is grieving two heartbreaking losses while facing a crisis at home with no income at all.

Right now, Michael is trying to carry the weight of mortgage payments, the electric bill, and other household expenses that have fallen months behind. The pressure is immediate. Without help, he may lose the home. At the same time, he is under pressure to clear everything out and sell the house so he can move to be with family in Florida. His family there cannot come to help and does not have the funds to support this transition.

Because this need continues over time, ongoing support would make a real difference for Michael as these bills and housing-related expenses continue while he has no income. Recurring donations can help him keep up with essential expenses during this period and give him some stability as he works through what comes next. One-time donations are also deeply appreciated and will help with the most urgent overdue costs right now.

If you are able, please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser to support Michael Hyland Jr. during this painful and uncertain time. Any help will go toward keeping up with essential bills and helping him get through the process of leaving the home and moving closer to family.
