<div>Hello, My name is Brittany Sanders. I’m making this GoFundMe me on behalf of my father Michael Bushey, who sub-stained life threatening injuries on 10/16/25 after being hit by a motor vehicle by a driver who was impaired and purposely drove his vehicle into my father who was on the sidewalk with a group of co workers. He was just getting off his shift at his workplace when the incident happened. My father had to be air lifted to Albany medical center, where he had to undergo surgery to repair his fractured and dislocated hip, as well as a fractured pelvis, broken wrist and several broken ribs. He has gone through one surgery as of yesterday and will be facing 2 more surgeries this upcoming week. He has a long road to recovery before he is fully healed, and the doctors instructed that he won’t be able to walk for 8+weeks after being sent home. This will require my mom to also be out of work to attend to him 24 hours, until medically cleared, which leaves them to face being behind on bills etc. My father absolutely did not deserve this and I’m trying to relieve some of the financial stress &amp; burden that is yet to come from both of them being out of work. This was totally unexpected, but we are so grateful for my father to be alive.
