Mia is someone so many people in Winston-Salem know and love from the ordering window at Biscuitville. For countless customers, seeing Mia means hearing that warm, familiar greeting: “How can I make your day better, doll baby?” It is a simple phrase, but it has brightened mornings and lifted spirits all over town. Mia has given so much kindness, warmth, and joy to others, and now Mia is the one who needs the care and support of this community while receiving treatment for cancer.

 This is a difficult season, and this fundraiser was created so friends, neighbors, customers, and everyone whose day has been touched by Mia can come together around someone who has given so much of themself to others. The funds raised will help Mia with medical expenses and personal expenses during treatment, easing some of the burden being carried right now and allowing Mia to focus on healing.
