Merge Literary Magazine celebrates Black people’s history, culture, progress, and promise. We highlight intellectual and creative genius while nurturing our young, new, and emerging writers and artists. You are an integral part of sustaining our mission and vision. We need your help continuing to fulfill our mission of producing a magazine containing poetry, essays, articles, reviews, and visual art that highlights Black writers and artists from their diverse perspectives, visions, and voices.

• Ensuring quality delivery of diverse writing and multidisciplinary art.
• Expanding the product to include quality printed magazine issues.
We are very excited that current printed issues are in the formatting phase and will be available soon.
• Providing administration, project planning, website creation, and technical support.
• Reviewing, editing. and promoting magazine submissions.
• Producing projects and programs that highlight our poets, writers, and visual artists.
• Developing cultural literacy programs.
