<div>I’m Emma, a nursing student at Belmont Abbey College with a heart for global service and a faith-driven approach to care. I was inspired by childhood experiences with hospitalized family members and the example of a Mercy Ships surgeon, so I’m pursuing a career in NICU nursing. This summer, I will join Mercy Ships’ pilot program, The MercyShip, spending two weeks in Madagascar to support patient recovery, shadow volunteer nurses, and deepen my understanding of how faith and care intersect on a global scale.
