After experiencing severe pain and loss of feeling in my left leg, I urgently needed my third back operation. The procedure was complex, lasting nearly three hours as surgeons worked around naturally fused vertebrae, removing calcifications, scar tissue, and tethered nerves. Now, two weeks post-op, I’m facing a long road to recovery that includes weeks of physical therapy to regain my independence.

<div>This experience has deeply affected my family. My husband and children have been my main source of support, but the situation has been stressful for all of us. Both my husband and I have lost work during this time, which has made it difficult to keep up with household bills, groceries, and daily living expenses. I am unable to do basic activities like getting dressed, bathing, standing, walking without assistance, or even sitting up for long periods. Cooking meals and cleaning are also impossible for me right now, and my family has had to adjust to help with these tasks.
