My name is Amanda Alek and I am asking for your help in lifting my friend Melissa and her family up as their entire world has crumbled due to the devastation Hurricane Helene caused in the town of Asheville and surrounding suburbs. As a friend who lives far away this is how we can help. Melissa’s job as a wedding/family photographer will be put on hold for the foreseeable future as her town rebuilds and cleans up for months to come. <div>Melissa did want me to update to let everyone know luckily her home wasn’t destroyed. She’s not sure when they will be able to go back to it however. No water, no electricity is expected for weeks if not longer. But she is incredibly grateful to know it wasn’t a complete loss.
