<div>On the evening of Friday, December 5, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMHbeWjSq0Y" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">a devastating fire broke out</a> at the longtime home of Melissa Edwards Lovette, who has lived in this house in Morehead Hill for more than three decades. The fire caused significant structural damage, and sadly, Melissa and two other family members were injured. Melissa will be coming home soon, but the other two are still in the hospital.

<div>While we are grateful that everyone is safe, the family lost all of their essential belongings—including clothing, daily necessities, and treasured personal items. Their home will require extensive repair and is unsafe to return to for the foreseeable future.
