<div>Melissa Alexander was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. With an infectious smile, she loved all those around her. Melissa was diagnosed and fought hard to beat cancer. She was in remission and looking forward to the future, making plans and dreaming of the years to come. However, when she went in for a routine check-up, the doctors found that the cancer had returned and spread. It was now stage 4. But she didn’t give up; she was ready to fight. However, the cancer had progressed too far. She passed away the day her chemo treatments were set to begin. She will be remembered for her love and her fighting heart. While she is rejoicing among her family in heaven, her family here is left to put her to rest. <strong>This sudden loss was not something that was planned, and as a result, the family is calling on her family, friends, and community to help in this time of need.</strong>
