Support Melisa's Fight Against Pancreatic Cancer

Melisa Chandler is a superhero living as a mild-mannered mini-horse Mom in the Tonto National Forest north of Payson, Arizona. 

Melisa was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The closest cancer centers are in Pheonix, over two hours away, where we've chosen to pursue treatment with the team at MD Anderson. With no options in Payson that allow us to pursue the same level of care, trials, etc., we're quickly learning that just being in the Phoenix valley comes with serious expenses (gas prices, lodging, etc.) and only adds to the medical costs. While we have insurance, we are finding it limited.

Melisa is only Stage 3, and we're being coached that she's young enough and still strong enough to pursue aggressive treatment. We are building a war chest for the coming months to travel to fight at MD Anderson in Phoenix while hoping to keep the mini-farm we live on in Payson intact.
