Melisa’s aunt is a 60-year-old disabled woman who has always been a loving mother and caretaker. Recently, tragedy struck when the house she was renting caught fire, leaving her with nothing but the clothes she was wearing and one baby kitten she managed to save. The loss of her home, belongings, and beloved pets has left her devastated and struggling to find hope.

 To make matters even more difficult, her adult daughter, who lives with her, was recently diagnosed with colon cancer and is now undergoing chemotherapy. The family is facing overwhelming challenges, trying to navigate medical treatments, emotional stress, and the urgent need for basic necessities. Melisa’s aunt is diabetic, which makes access to healthy food and medication even more critical during this time.

 Donations to this fundraiser will help provide essentials like clothes, food, shoes, underwear, bras, shampoo, socks, conditioner, and support for her aunt’s diabetes care and her daughter’s medical needs. The funds will also help care for the surviving kitten and cover urgent living expenses. Melisa is reaching out to the community for any possible support—whether it’s financial help or donations of items.
