<div>Hello everyone,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I'm Mélanie Astles, a passionate aerobatic pilot, and I'm thrilled to invite you to join me on an incredible journey to the European Aerobatic Championship in Clinceni, Romania. After securing a fifth place at the World Championship, I'm aiming for the podium this year, and with your help, we can make it happen!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The European Aerobatic Championship, organized by the CIVA (International Aerobatic Commission) and part of the FAI (International Aeronautical Federation), takes place every two years. I'll be representing the United Kingdom in team GBR in the Advanced category.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My trusty Extra 330 SC and I will embark on a thrilling flight across Europe, traversing France, Italy, the Czech Republic, and Poland to reach Romania. This adventure involves approximately 15 hours of flight just to reach the competition venue. Once there, I'll undergo rigorous training sessions in Italy from August 24th to August 30th and in Romania from August 31st to September 5th, leading up to the competition from September 5th to 13th.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Competing at this level involves significant costs. Here is a breakdown of the expenses:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>- Flight Hours:15 hours for travel to Romania and 10 hours for training and competition at €800 per hour, totaling €20,000.
</div>
<div>- Transport Costs: Round trip with the service vehicle, approximately €3,000.
</div>
<div>- Competition Fees: My registration fee is €2,850, and Ted's fee is €2,200, who will document the journey through videos and photos.
</div>
<div>- Miscellaneous Fees and Taxes: About €1,000.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thanks to the generosity of my sponsors, some of these costs are covered, but I still need to raise €12,500 to balance the budget.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Why Your Support Matters
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your support is crucial for making this dream a reality. By contributing to this campaign, you're not just helping me compete; you're joining me on this journey and becoming part of our story. Ted and I will document every step of the way, sharing videos and photos so you can experience the highs and lows of this adventure with us.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I invite you to be part of this exciting journey. Your support will help fuel my flight to the European Championship and keep the spirit of aerobatic flying alive.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for your generosity and belief in our adventure. Let's fly high together! And Win !
</div>
