<div>On 12/5/25 just 5 days before her 30th birthday, 14 weeks postpartum with her first child Meg got the news that would rock her and her new little families world. She was diagnosed with an aggressive form of stage 3 breast cancer which has spread to her lymphnodes. From that date she has been in doctors appointments weekly, endless scans, blood work and facing the new reality of what her new normal is going to look like all while being a new mom. After the heartbreaking diagnosis things have been so rushed to start treatment as her type cancer is extremely aggressive but with that will come some financial burden and we as a family want to make this as easy and stress free for Meg, Jordan and JJ as possible so they can focus on her treatment plan, surgeries, radiation, recovery and most importantly ringing that bell at the end. Meg is planning to still work (shocker) throughout chemotherapy and radiation as long as her body allows her to. The money raised will be going toward the medical copays, prescriptions that she will be on for years to come, surgeries and specialists along with anything else insurance won’t cover.

<div>The game plan from here is to start chemotherapy 1/09/2026. Once her rounds of chemo are done she will be undergoing a double mastectomy where they will send pathology off to see if the first round of chemo was enough. If the chemo worked she will be starting radiation for the metastatic disease to her lymph nodes. Of course there’s a possibility she will need more rounds of chemo and her team is prepared with a back up plan if that’s the case. It is going to be a long road but we are remaining positive and know she will end out on top of it all. Thank you all for the endless love, prayers and support for our families during this time.
