<div>My name is Meghan and I lost my best friend and love of my life, little dog Meatball. She passed away in the ER Sunday, May 11th in the morning. She went into cardiac arrest after have been hospitalized for 2 days at that point. The doctors performed CPR and other life-saving methods for 13 minutes before making the call. I am grateful for all of the help from the specialists the last few weeks, as their empathy and knowledge gave us a little more time with her. I am asking for a little help with her vet bills and aftercare services, as my savings has depleted and a rather larger credit card bill has racked up.

<div>Meatball was found as a stray under a bush in the alley of the house I was living in at the time. I was only 20 years old and she couldn’t have been any older than 6 months. She wouldn’t eat anything other than frozen Costco meatballs, so the name stuck. 13 years later and she’s been the best, sweetest, most loving companion anyone could have ever asked for! She’s been there through my ups and downs, and has always put a smile on those that got to spend time with her. She definitely wasn’t your average chihuahua and loved people. Thank you to all that allowed her in your homes and your hearts. She was literally my everything and I did most things because of her. She was my biggest rock in life, and I will be forever changed by her love! Meatball is forever in my heart and I will cherish the amazing memories she gave me! I love you, tiny nugget!
