Dear Friends, Family, and Spirit Tribe,
I am writing to ask for your support during a challenging time.
I recently underwent a bilateral microscopic discectomy on my L4/L5, and the surgery went very well. I am in a lot of pain, to say the least.
Today I was informed that my recovery process post-operation will consist of two weeks of bed rest. I am unable to return to work, leaving me unable to pay my bills.
I currently work at a vintage burger shop called Don and Millie's, and I also work at 5Below.
Valentine's Day was my one-year sober anniversary, and I feel amazing!
Xavier and I are doing great, and we have our first overnight visit on Saturday! Our DHHS case should be closed within 30-90 days!! He is doing amazing and is in the ninth grade!
Diosa is also doing wonderful. She lives in Coolidge with a family friend and is in the 8th grade. Diosa plays the saxophone and is in JROTC. Xavier and I are moving back home to Arizona in November! We are so excited!
Thankfully, my insurance covered the costs of my surgery and my medication. I am just asking for support to cover my bills for the two weeks I am unable to work.
Every dollar counts in helping us manage these expenses and focus on my recovery without the added stress of financial burdens.
If you are able to contribute, please consider making a donation to our GoFundMe page. Your support, whether financial, through sharing the link, or even just sending positive energy my way, is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your kindness, love, and support during this trying time.
With Gratitude and Warm Regards,
-Megan Walker-
