On Sunday, September 20, 2026, maysa’s brother was killed during a shooting in Tampa, Florida. This fundraiser is for maysa’s brother and their family as they face the heartbreak of this sudden loss. Maysa wants people to know that their brother was a loving and caring kid who had so much more life ahead of him, and now he is resting. No family is ever prepared for this kind of pain, and alongside their grief, they are now trying to manage the heavy financial burden that comes with laying a loved one to rest and seeking help through the legal process.

The funds raised will help cover funeral expenses, lawyer costs to represent the family during this entire process, and lost income from days away from work. This support will help maysa’s family give their brother the proper funeral he deserves while also helping them continue fighting through the justice system. As they cope with emotional trauma and try to take things one day at a time, any donation would be a true blessing. If you are able to give, please consider supporting maysa and their family during this painful time. Just as meaningful, please keep their family in your thoughts as they honor maysa’s brother’s life and memory.
