Hi, my name is Crystalyn and I am asking for your help to help me support my aunt Mayra and family with such an unexpected and devastating loss in our family.
On Saturday, February 15, 2025, my aunt Mayra got a call that no mother EVER wants to receive. She received a call that her son had gone to the hospital for a cough and was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer and only had up to three weeks to live. Her son was living in New York, while we, his family, including his mother, live in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
This is such a sad, tragic thing in our family because not only was he so young (32 years old) and had so much life ahead of him, unexpectedly and happened so fast.
With just getting the news a couple of days ago and him passing away yesterday, 2/17/25, we have not been given much time to come up with money to transport and lay him to rest properly.
I’m hoping that you are gracious enough to help support my family through this very tough time and be that someone to help my aunt Mayra. I’m hoping to help her through creating this GoFundMe account so she can lay her son to rest in peace.
I am hoping to get enough donations for Anthony’s funeral, transportation from New York to PA and all the costs this will accumulate so I can present this to his mom. We don’t have dates yet for the funeral yet as these things are a process. Updates to come.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Anthony's Funeral Service at The Groffs Family Funeral Home, 528 W. Orange Street, Lancaster, PA, on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 11 a.m. with Angel D. Rivera officiating. A visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the service. Interment will be at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
