Hi, my name is Georgina and I am fundraising on behalf of our much loved dog Max.

Max sadly was lost for 5 days, before being reunited with us on 29th November 2025. Unfortunately, this was a bittersweet recovery as Max was hit by a car and then bravely caught by the community around us to ensure we got him to the emergency vets.

So after over 300,000 steps, 100 plus miles covered between us and a team of friends, family, and an amazing community, Max was finally safe. However, his adventures does not stop there. Following assessment, Max needs specialist care for his injury. His has broken all toes on his right leg, his fibula and his tibula. Due to the complexity of the surgery, our insurance does not extend to cover this.

Our options were surgery or consider amputation. We wanted to fight to save Max's leg but had to raise funds in order to do so.

If you can help in any way, all we ask is if you could donate a £1 or even the cost of coffee or pint on milk towards Max's care. Any funds are going towards the costs of the surgery and physio to support in Max in his recovery. If you cannot donate, please help us is continuing to share Max's story.

If there are any leftover funds, these will be donated to a dog rescue charity, so no other family has to go through the pain we have had to go through and so the charity can continue to support more families in bringing their pet family home.
