<div>Those of us lucky enough to know Matt Hazard, know he has a huge heart. He is a loving husband, father, son, brother, colleague and friend. You'll find Matt cheering on his Ducks, entertaining friends in the backyard, chasing around his two little boys, training for a marathon, or spending quality time with his wife.

<div>Matt recently celebrated his milestone 40th birthday by running his first marathon on April 28th. This took months of hard work and dedication, waking up at 4:30am to train, rain or shine. Matt's hard work paid off, as he beat his goal (3:08!) and qualified for the Boston Marathon. He felt great, having just dominated this challenge, but on June 19, Matt was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer.

<div>His wife, Amanda, 5-year old son, Colton, and 3-year old son, Easton, are supporting Matt every step of the way, but they need the support of their friends, family, and community now more than ever.  During this tumultuous time, Matt and Amanda need to concentrate their efforts on finding Matt the best possible care and treatments.  This means coordinating countless doctor appointments, lab visits, and treatment sessions, all while raising two young children and working full time.
