<div>Hi everyone, I’m starting this fundraiser for my friend Mathew and his family. Back in August, we were all celebrating when he got to ring the bell after finishing treatment. We truly thought the hardest part was behind him.

<div>Recently, Mathew had to be rushed in for emergency surgery, and the doctors found out that his cancer isn’t curable. Since then, he’s been going through more treatments, surgeries, and chemo. He is currently in the hospital and will be there for a while as he continues fighting through all of this. It’s been overwhelming for him, his wife, and their kids.

<div>On top of everything, they have a special needs child who requires extra care and support, making this time even more challenging for the family. His wife is trying to balance being at the hospital with Mathew, taking care of their child, and keeping things together at home.

<div>Even with everything they’ve been told, we aren’t giving up on him. Mathew is a fighter, and we’re going to fight this right alongside him. He deserves every chance, every moment, and every bit of support we can give.

<div>With everything happening so fast, the family is struggling to keep up with daily expenses while trying to focus on Mathew’s health. I’m hoping to raise money to help ease some of that stress—things like medical costs, gas for hospital trips, meals for the kids, and anything else the family needs while they face this tough road ahead. They shouldn’t have to worry about money on top of everything else going on.
