Support Aaris Children Group in Masaka, Uganda

I created this campaign in an effort to help a selfless young lady name Angel who is a 22 year old single mom to a 1 year old daughter living in Masaka, Uganda in Africa.  For the past 3 years, she has also been caring for 10 children aged 7-15 she took off the streets. Some are orphaned, some come from needy families.

Angel created Aaris Creative Group to mentor and teach these children various crafts so they can make handmade art and products like string curtains, doormats and teddy bears to sell.  Angel herself has no other income and especially since the pandemic, it has been very hard and the children are often hungry. A few of them have not been able to attend school for years due to school tuition costs. School is not free in UG in their area.

Angel's main goal is to open a hair salon and offer hair services, and she has been teaching the children hairdressing.  This would create more sustainable income and eventually she would like to continue with a hairdressing school to keep teaching others to earn a living.

The group is in need of the most basic items. We are raising money for food, clothes and shoes, school and art supplies, blankets, hygiene products. We are also working hard on getting equipment and supplies for the hair salon and supplies for crafts to sell. We have a food budget of about $200 per month to feed the children. We would also love to pay for school tuition once schools reopen so all have a chance for a better life. I am in contact with Angel regularly and transfer money to her via Worldremit/Airtel.
