Friends of MaryJo (Nanna) and Carlos Rosa are asking for your help on behalf of MaryJo. MaryJo has been struggling with a serious, undiagnosed medical condition for several months.

Everyone who has met MaryJo knows her as outgoing, warm, friendly, humorous, and having compassion. She has always been there for her family, Carlos Jr (Carlito) and Marina, friends, children’s friends, students, and colleagues, going above and beyond to support those around her. A Western New York native, MaryJo attended Nardin, Academy, and Canisius college, and has dedicated her decades – long career as a reading specialist to teach elementary students in the Hamburg central school district.

Despite undergoing extensive testing and doctor visits, MaryJo has not yet received a clear diagnosis for her illness. She is now seeking specialized medical care out of town, which will require significant travel and additional medical expenses. Unfortunately, the family does not have the financial resources to cover these costs on their own. She is facing a growing pile of medical and travel bills and an uncertain path to recovery, all while trying to maintain a household.

We are asking for your compassion and support during this incredibly difficult time. Any donations, no matter how small, would make a huge difference and help alleviate MaryJo’s financial burden during this challenging period. Your generosity will allow her to access the care she desperately needs to regain her health.
