My dear friend Mary is facing one of the hardest challenges of her life. After many years of working hard and doing everything she could to keep her and her family afloat as a single mother, things beyond her control have just decimated their family as she faces losing the home they’ve lived in for 18 years. Unexpected family deaths, one passed away pup, another batting cancer post 2 surgeries, and setbacks have put her home, the place she’s built her life and memories, at risk. This house isn’t just a building; it’s their safe space, their stability, and the house she has raised her children in. We’re asking for your help to give her the chance to keep it. She works full time, even though she’s in failing health, along with side jobs and can afford to pay the mortgage. Although, with the closing cost and down payment being needed so suddenly, along with the mourned loss of the elderly landlord who was and will always be family, she doesn’t have that kind of money at one time.
