Hello, friends and neighbors. We are raising money for our friend, Mary, a beautiful soul and hard-working CNA who, at the age of 85, still needs to work just to keep her home. She recently had cancer surgically removed from her hand and is unable to perform her duties as a CNA until the wound heals.

With her gentle and loving care this amazing woman has taken care of many home-bound and bed-bound patients over the years, bathing and cleaning them, caring for them with all of her heart and her strength. Mary is an optimist and uplifts everyone around her with her can-do spirit. She needs and deserves a helping hand.

Mary became a CNA after caring for her husband who, tragically, passed away from ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease). They shared many wonderful years together.

At almost 90 years old, this wonderful lady should not need to worry about whether or not she will be able to stay in her home. She has taken care of her community and given selflessly for many years. We would love for her to feel taken care of now. Please give whatever you can to help our friend keep her home.
