My name is Martell and on Christmas morning 2024, I was in a very bad life threatening car accident. I end up having to be cut out of my car and transported to the nearest trauma center in critical condition where I was sent straight to the OR for emergency surgery. I broke both of my femur bones, both of my scaphoid bones in my hands as well as my metacarpals. I just had surgery on both legs and both hands and have a long road to recovery to learn how to walk again and use my hands normally again. With this I am not going to be able to work or do for myself for quite a while. I’m not the person to ask for help but I’m putting my pride to the side because I know I need it this time. Medical equipment, medical expenses, physical therapy etc. as well as living is going to be tough on this journey and road to recovery, so if you could find it in your heart to help it would be greatly appreciated!
