Dear Friends, Family and beyond,

My Aunt Marsea along with my mom, Mercedes, for the past year have selflessly left their individual lives and put everything aside to be present with and for my grandmother who was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in May of 2023.

My grandma Janiece, had already battled cancer when i was very young and beat it years ago thanks to some cutting edge trials performed at National Institutes of Health in Bethesda... but now she has a cruel, debilitating and extreme suffer-causing myeloma which has no cure. This disease has significantly diminished her life by creating unbelievable hurdles that my mom and my aunt have helped her to navigate... it's severely stolen away from her quality of life, her energy, her strength, drive and joy for life. In addition to nurturing and care giving my only living grandma, my aunt and mom have taken on financial struggles just to be there with grandma .. pausing their lives and each chosing to stop work to go to Michigan and care for my grandma so she could get nothing but the best attention. My mom is a strong, self-sufficient woman who can do anything she sets her mind too and my aunt has the biggest heart I know on this Earth; always giving to others... and now they deserve all the generous support so they can catch their breath, feel lifted up and continue their endeavor to care for my Grandma.

You might know these two brilliant women have been flying to and from their separate home states to be by her side starting over a year ago last May ... All of last summer while grandma was in the Hospital and two rehabs.. but now it's been One Year and they have dressed, driven my grandma to all appointments, shopping, making healthy foods for gradma, maintaining and repairing the family home through all four Michigan's seasons, tending to the land, varmit control, and overall doing an incredible job at baking, supporting grandma in exercising, keeping her mind sharp, getting ramps installed, dealing with permitting, prescriptions, house upkeep, bathing grandma, obtaining durable medical equipment, and all around bringing levity to the sadly horrific situation. Through it all I have seen mom and Marsea maintaining positivity and always finding the joyful and supporting healing vibes through some of the most difficult, heart-breaking emotional despair and anguish one could endure.. there is more but you wouldn't believe it all if i shared it.

I am telling you this because they - mom and Marsea - are in need of any monetary loving kindness and financial gifts of appreciation, recognition and support right now so they might continue to be present and care for my Grandma for the remainder of her shortened life.. and support for memorial arrangements.

Your thoughtful contributions to them is requested. I know you know them and how they are not only badass, fun, brilliant, caring, genuine... but just overall good, authentic human sister beings who are always the people who show up for family, friends, and community.

Please consider what you are able to gift to them - obviously the amount i asked for them to receive is WAY less than what they each have lost in income by not working for a year -- anything you give from your heart is appreciated to support them in continuing to give the very best overall care my grand mom.
